OpenVPN server on Debian: angristan script and client export

Set up OpenVPN with the angristan install script: download, answer prompts, fetch .ovpn file via SFTP and import in OpenVPN Connect.

Install with script

mkdir /openvpn && cd /openvpn
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angristan/openvpn-install/master/openvpn-install.sh
chmod 755 openvpn-install.sh
./openvpn-install.sh

Prompts: confirm server IP, IPv6 „n“, port default (1), DNS e.g. Cloudflare (3) or Google (9), compression „n“. Enter client name; .ovpn file is in /root/. Fetch via WinSCP (SFTP, port 22) and import in OpenVPN Connect.
