Data processing agreement (DPA)
For companies, agencies, associations and freelancers: on request we sign a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR with you – for all products you use to process personal data with us.
What is a DPA?
If you store personal data – such as customer records, orders, emails or user accounts – on our servers, we process that data on your behalf. The GDPR requires a contract for this: the data processing agreement. It ensures we only process the data according to your instructions and protect it appropriately.
When do you need a DPA?
- You run an online shop, a website with a contact form or a customer portal.
- You host applications with user accounts, for example via Coolify, Dokploy or Supabase.
- You use mail servers or databases containing customer or employee data.
- You are an agency or service provider hosting projects for your own clients.
What the DPA covers
- Subject, duration, nature and purpose of processing
- Technical and organisational measures (TOMs)
- Sub-processors used, e.g. the data center
- Support with data subject rights and notification duties
- Deletion or return of data at the end of the contract
Our safeguards at a glance
These measures form the basis of the technical and organisational measures in your DPA.
Built to Tier 3 standards
SkyLink Data Center in Eygelshoven (NL) – built to Tier 3 standards with a strong focus on security and redundancy.
Redundant uplink
Multiple independent fibre connections. If one line fails, traffic continues over the other.
RAID 1 mirroring
Every disk has an exact twin. A single hardware failure does not cause data loss.
Daily off-site backups
On top of that, we back up daily to a 40 TB backup storage in another data center.
Data processing in the EU
Our servers are located in the Netherlands – inside the EU and fully within the scope of the GDPR.
