Question 1

How quickly is my server available?

Accepted Answer

Your server is available in the dashboard immediately after ordering. All access details and information are shown directly in the dashboard. You simply top up your balance via the dashboard and can then configure and order your server – all done in minutes.

Question 2

How do I order a server?

Accepted Answer

Ordering is done entirely through our dashboard. Simply log in, top up your balance and configure your desired server. The dashboard guides you through every step – from choosing the operating system to configuring your resources.

Question 3

Can I migrate between Intel and AMD?

Accepted Answer

Yes, migrations between Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen processors are possible at any time via the dashboard. You can perform CPU migration in your server's Up/Downgrade tab – with no data loss. Price adjustments are calculated automatically and applied to the remaining term.

Question 4

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

In the dashboard you can top up your balance by credit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit, Sofort, Giropay and other payment methods. For alternative options like PaySafeCard or cryptocurrencies, please contact us on Discord or WhatsApp.

Question 5

Can I upgrade or downgrade my server?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your server package at any time via the dashboard. In the Up/Downgrade tab you can adjust CPU cores, RAM and disk space. Costs for the remaining term are calculated automatically. Note: Storage can only be increased – downgrading without reinstallation is not technically possible.

Question 6

Do you offer technical support?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer 24/7 technical support via Discord and WhatsApp. Our expert team helps with setup, configuration and all technical questions about your server. We're happy to support game server installations within fair use.

Question 7

How does the backup system work?

Accepted Answer

We back up virtual servers daily to separate storage in another data centre. You can find available backups in the Backups tab of your dashboard; if needed, we can also restore an existing backup for you on request. Please also keep your own backups of important data outside our systems (Section 11 GTC).

Question 8

What happens if hardware fails?

Accepted Answer

If hardware fails we migrate your server to new hardware as quickly as possible. Thanks to our redundant infrastructure and daily backups, downtime is minimal. You will be informed of any maintenance in good time via Discord.

Question 9

Can I give other people access to my server?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in the Co-Owner tab you can give other users access to your server via Discord ID. Co-owners can manage, start, stop and configure the server - only renewal and cancellation is exclusively reserved for the main owner.

Question 10

How does automatic renewal work?

Accepted Answer

In the Renewal & Cancellation tab of your server, you can activate automatic renewal. Once activated, your server is automatically extended by 30 days as long as there is sufficient credit in your account. You maintain full control and can deactivate auto-renewal at any time.

Question 11

Why AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and not EPYC/Intel Server?

Accepted Answer

The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X offers extremely high single-core performance and clock speeds up to 5.7 GHz - this is crucial for gaming servers like FiveM, Minecraft and CS2. EPYC and many Intel servers from other providers are often designed for many cores and virtualization, but have lower clock speeds and less gaming optimization. This leads to worse FPS, longer loading times and more lag. Our Ryzen servers are specially optimized for gaming and offer you maximum performance, stability and future-proofing - ideal for demanding projects with many players and complex resources.

Question 12

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can upgrade your plan at any time and the changes take effect immediately. Downgrades are processed at the end of the current billing period. Our support team will help you with seamless data migration.

Question 13

Can I withdraw from my order or get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a consumer you can withdraw from your contract within 14 days of conclusion without giving reasons – most easily via magichosting.de/vertrag-widerrufen or by e-mail to support@magichosting.de. Merely activating a server does not end your right of withdrawal. If you asked us to start during the withdrawal period, you only pay for the days you were already able to use the server. For domains, the right of withdrawal expires upon registration if you expressly agreed to this beforehand. Unused deposited credit is paid out on request. Details: Sections 10 and 15 of our GTC.

Question 14

What availability do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We aim for 99% availability on an annual average – this is a target, not a guarantee with service credits. To keep outages rare and short, our infrastructure is redundant: a data center built to Tier 3 standard, redundant uplink, RAID 1 and daily off-site backups. We announce planned maintenance 24 hours in advance where possible. Your statutory rights in case of outages, such as a price reduction, remain unaffected (Section 4 of our terms).

Question 15

How do I migrate from my current hosting provider?

Accepted Answer

Our migration team offers free migration support for all new customers. We manage the entire process including data transfer, DNS configuration, and testing. Most migrations are completed within a few hours.
